Baked Brie with Madeleine’s Marmalade
1 8 oz wheel of Brie
1/2 cup Madeleine’s Marmalade
If making your own puff pastry, prepare at least 1 hour prior to preparing this recipe.
Slice the brie wheel in half horizontally and set aside. Preheat oven to 375°F.
Roll out puff pastry. Place bottom half of brie on top of a layer of puff pastry. On top of the bottom half of the brie, spread the marmalade. Put the other half of the brie on top and gently press together. Wrap the entire brie in puff pastry. Finish with an egg wash.
Place the wrapped brie on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven at 375°F for 35 minutes. Check the brie as it is cooking as any marmalade that seeps out of the pastry will have a tendency to burn.
Serve hot with water crackers.
